Buying & Selling Our Two Homes
"Having Cheryl Rogers as my realtor was nothing short of Divine Appoinment. As a single mother going through a divorce and dislocated from everything that has been familiar to me, God knew that I needed someone unselfish and most interested in what was best for my daughter and me; Cheryl Rogers is that person. She walks into your life as a realtor and leaves as a friend. Her spirit is incredible and infectious but most importantly, she cares about other people. You know right away that it's (the experience) not about her and all about you. I knew I could trust her at first encounter and I had a feeling she would work hard for me. I was right. I have a type A personality which can be challenging for some people but if Cheryl ever lost her patience with me, I never saw it. I can't begin to number how many houses we saw but she supported me every step of the way. She was committed to me. I felt like I was her only client. Amazing how she did that! God sent Cheryl to hold my hand from beginning to end. She kept me grounded, within my budget, and never once pressured me in any way to do anything. She took care of us. One thing I really love about her is the ability to tear a property apart and in short order, show you how pretty isn't so pretty. What I mean by that is, a beautiful house can be a huge deception if you don't know how to look at the "bones". Cheryl knows how to "skim" the bones and , she will!! I learned sooo much. Actually more than I ever thought I wanted to know. If it's not good for you based on what she knows about you, she'll tell you that too! In closing, Cherly secured an "Oasis" for me; a home that my daughter, our dog and I can enjoy for years to come. And when I tell you she was with me from beginning to end, she was. I cried at closing for several reasons and as I type this statement I am misting again because I am reminded of some of my thoughts on that day: (1) I knew that it was God himself who sent Cheryl to me, (2) and as I sat across the table from this beautiful woman, both inside and out I knew that I would miss our chats almost daily and (3) I had gained a friend. I promise once you encounter Cherly your life will never be the same. She is someone you can absolutely trust to take care of you with intergrity and truth. SHE WILL PROTECT YOU FROM EVERYONE, INCLUDING YOURSELF IF IT'S NECESSARY! Respectfully, Shahana Brown-Ledee, Closed on my first home as a single woman on 30 March 2011! Thanks Cheryl! I miss you!
Helped me buy a home
"Cheryl Rogers was by far a blessing in our first home buying experience. We are a military family and only had one weekend to be able to come up and look at houses. She was amazing at making sure we had plenty of houses to choose from several days before we were even due to arrive. She treated us like we were family. She was very honest and would not let us get ahead of our selves. If she noticed something that was wrong she would be upfront with us to make sure we did not get headed in the wrong direction. If you are looking for a realtor that will make sure you make a good decision on a house and that will take care of any need that you have Cheryl is the woman for you. She has made our first home buying experience amazing and i hope to be able to use her again if we ever buy or sell another home."
"I would definitly recommend Cheryl, and can't wait to have her sell our house in the future! She is very knowledgeable, sweet, honest, and patient, all of which was vital to our success in finally becomming home owners. I really do not think we would have been able to acheive our dream of owning our first home if it wasn't for Cheryl and her compasion for her customers. I think of Cheryl as a friend after our wonderful experience, and we feel very thankful for all of her help."
"My wife and I have purchased four houses in the last 20 years and have sold two of them while dealing with many sellers and buyers agents. Some of the representatives were good although a majority of them ended our transactions with nightmarish results. The result of these transactions left us very leery of Real Estate Agents, as it appeared that their mindset was to make the quick commission vice taking care of my family and our investment. Since I am an Active Duty Military Service member, my family and I transfer to new duty stations on a regular basis and consistently deal with the colossal stress of having to find a new place to live. This compounds the issue of having to find another agent in whom we can put our trust. When my family and I moved to Tennessee, we did not know anyone or even know the area so we prayed about it and asked God to guide us to someone that would take my family's needs and desires into consideration. Within 10 minutes, we happened to drive by a Real Estate office and I stopped in to ask for a foreclosure list. The receptionist guided us to Cheryl Rogers who pleasantly greeted us in the lobby. I was quite a bit anxious at first however; Ms. Rogers's personality quickly set our minds at ease. Within just a few minutes, we realized that our prayer was answered and God led us to this appointment. Ms. Rogers motivated, highly energetic, caring and thoughtful personality combined with her uncommon work ethic, listening skills and attention to detail quickly engaged us and built a trust that we have not seen with anyone else. She listened to my wife and I then quickly found us not just a house but a home in the area that fit our needs. Additionally, Ms. Rogers was very adamant about making sure that we were not taken advantage of by the seller's agent while further taking the time to ensure a complete and smooth transaction took place.
